The Loudoun Foundation
Bringing residents, charities and businesses together!
The Loudoun Foundation's mission is to create and support musical enrichment programs for youth in Loudoun County. In 2005 they created the 'Loudoun All-star Battle of the Bands' program geared toward high school students. The Loudoun Foundation also created the annual, popular 'Loudoun Summer Music Fest' in 2004, now it's in its third year of effectively bringing together residents, charities and businesses. The program was started to help raise awareness and funding for its programs, as well as the other charities chosen to benefit from the series, and to provide a fun and affordable, family friendly concert atmosphere for area residents.

OUR 2008 CHARITABLE AWARENESS PARTNER
Donate Life America is proud to be part of the 2008 Series of the Loudoun Summer Music Fest. We are honored to work with the Loudoun Foundation and support its commitment to bringing about awareness by providing a positive venue and great music to the area. This partnership will allow Donate Life America to increase the number of registered organ, eye and tissue donors in America and take another step towards ending a national healthcare crisis. There are currently more than 98,000 Americans waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant. Thousands more wait for a chance to “get their lives back” because of a bone graft or cornea transplant. In Loudon County alone there were 56 residents waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant as of December 31, 2007. They were joined by another 340 in the District of Columbia, 2,260 in Maryland and another 2,741 fellow Virginians. We are thankful that the Loudoun Foundation is committed to helping save their lives by encouraging all they influence to Donate Life.”

Get connected and give back in your community! Here are some terrific local organizations we LOVE! Volunteer your time, donate financially, make a difference any way you can!
And believe us...YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!
Special Love
Why we love em: They offer children with cancer AND their siblings, a place to have fun and connect with children like them. They also offer families in need immediate assistance and resources when faced with diagnosis and expensive treatments. They are some of the happiest and most active staff,-members and volunteers we have met!
Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers
Why we love em: They help the elderly with many resources. So many of our elderly get lost in the shuffle and can get taken advantage of without a good support system and if they don't have close family. THAT SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. We wouldn't want it for our Nana and Papa or anyone else's for that matter! LVC cares for the elderly in our community, and we care for them because of it!
Good Shepherd Alliance
WHAT??? Loudoun has a homeless population??? HECK YES WE DO! That is why we love and support Good Shepherd. Here's a group of folks who see first hand, every day, what living and working in a community where the cost of living can be a real struggle to some and outright crippling to others. If you don't see Loudouns homeless sleeping under our overpasses, it's cuz of these people. They offer opportunities for change and we love them too!
Loudoun Community Free Clinic
See above comment about homeless? Well, you don't have to be homeless to be without health insurance and I am pretty sure we ALL know you can find yourself in THIS bind pretty quick if you are in the service industry OR part of the many lay-offs that occur in corporate America (Loudoun). The Good Docs and medical personnel in our community step up to offer their services and we love THEM for it! (round of applause for the Healers!)
Loudoun Habitat for Humanity
Nothing like an affordable home opportunity for a deserving family who otherwise could never afford to live here. Got a hammer and some nails? Nuff said.
